As Relationship Manager, Julia focuses on strong communication and fostering collaboration between industry, educational partners and apprentices. Through strategic candidate outreach and recruitment, and a scaffolded support system targeting all stakeholders, Julia ensures successful completion of the GA CATT program resulting in highly skilled, valuable employees offering long-term workforce solutions.
Having received her B.A. in German Studies from Penn State University and M.A. in International Education, Julia has focused her career of 20+ years around public and higher education, non-profit work, intercultural competency, equity, and community building both in the U.S and Germany. Prior to joining the Skills Initiative, she was the federal GEAR UP grant coordinator at the Asheville-Buncombe Technical College where she focused on post-secondary awareness and dual enrollment in Career and Technical Education.
